Oma
My grandmother, Olive, or Oma as we call her, is a spectacular woman. She has traveled the world countless times. Including when she was 60 years old and was a part of the first all female expedition on Ana Purna, and for her 80th birthday she went to Alaska and mushed dogs.

Unfortunately I only met her 10 years ago. But I am extremely lucky to know her. She is infinitely inspiring in her strength. As she turned 90, I was reminded of her frailty, and age, that I still have so much to learn about her, and her life.

I was able to sneak some shots of her, but when she realized what I was doing she said I could only take her portrait if I made her look like Catherine Hepburn.
